Results:

1)  Attraction of Samick Music Corporation.  The company will build a new $5 million facility and move its North American corporate headquarters, manufacturing and primary distribution center to Gallatin, Tennessee.  Samick will initially emploiy 100 people and plans to add 25 more emplyees per year during the first three years of operation, and build a second adjacent building in the future.

A Samick Music company executive on the West Coast was searching for properties on the website, which led him to contact an economic development professional in the state.  Within one week of that contact, there was a site visit, and in less than 90 days, the decision was made to relocate.

2)  The website was also used in the attraction of Electro-Elf Lighting Products: 

“I received a phone call from John Humphreys, the President of Electro-Elf Lighting Products.  He was doing his site selection research on the Internet and found TVAsites.com.  He called me and I e-mailed him a list of sites while we were talking on the phone.  He made the decision about the location he wanted and is now moving his plant to a 35,000 square foot facility in Bolivar, Tennessee… In the past we’ve noticed that in certain times of the year we have a lull in the site selectors that come to the Tennessee Valley.  That has not happened this year.  We have not only reached our goals, we’ve exceeded them.  We can attribute that to TVAsites and the technology that we’re using.”
