• Attraction of Unifix, a concrete board manufacturer, created 36 jobs and $9.2 million in capital investments.

“We had a recent success with our ZoomProspector-powered website.  Unifix, which makes concrete board, was looking for an existing facility for about three years but couldn’t find anything that met their needs and their demands.  When they used the Cinergy/PSI Economic Development website and did a site search using our GIS features they found a spec building over in Vermillion County, Indiana that met their specific needs.  The representative from Unifix drove out to the Spec building, took a look at it, made a phone call to one of our project managers, and then asked us to make contact with the community [within which the property was located].  About two weeks after his initial viewing of the property, there was an announcement made that Unifix is now going to locate in Vermillion County.  The type of data, the easy accessibility of content and information utilizing the maps and demographics on our website was definitely a deciding factor in Unifix moving to Indiana.”
